Faults we fix on dynabook laptops
Screen faults come first: a blank screen, a backlight that has stopped working, or strange lines and distorted images. Lines usually mean the panel or its cable. A dark screen with a faint picture means the backlight.
Then there are power faults, such as a laptop that turns on and off repeatedly, a battery that won’t charge properly, or a charger plug that has to be held in place. The last one is the DC power jack, and replacing it costs £95 + VAT to £135 + VAT as a guide.

Moving to a new machine
When a laptop is being replaced, we migrate your data from the old drive to the new one. If the old drive has already failed, we offer laptop data recovery from hard drives and SSDs, with a free initial consultation and no charge if the data can’t be recovered.
Keeping office downtime short
A technician can visit your workplace with no call-out charge, or we collect the laptop and return it free. If the machine still starts, a remote diagnosis at £45 + VAT can tell you what is wrong without anyone leaving their desk. Simple faults are usually fixed the same day.
